The Be One Mentoring is a mentorship program designed by SHE Changes Climate to support young, budding professionals in developing career-specific skills in sustainability, climate action, and environmental protection. In particular, the program seeks to provide practical tools, leadership skills, network contacts, orientation advice, mental health and psychosocial support to high-potential individuals who are dedicated to addressing the planetary emergency. The focus is to unlock their potential to create positive impacts for the people and communities around them while keeping a good balance and a sustained level of energy in their life. The program aims at boosting their careers while preventing them and their teams from the risks of eco-anxiety, burn-out or depression. The red thread is to develop a high level of resilience to navigate the complexities of a rapidly changing world and the occurrence of systemic shocks such as climate breakdown, biodiversity collapse, war and conflicts or pandemics.
By building a high-trust team around them, and by nurturing and growing a healthy ecosystem of actors dedicated to sustainability, the mentees feel empowered and supported by their network, inspired by the spirit of radical collaboration, working as “One Team for One Planet”.
The program is hosted on a mentorship platform (OneUpOneDown) that features user-friendly resources to support mentors and mentees. During the course of the program, we also host masterclasses with Guest Speakers dedicated to resilience, mental health, well-being and sustainability.
We invite mentors from all around the globe to join our vibrant community and support young professionals in their transition to a new professional life.
